The Yarrow Gallery, opened in 1918, was funded by the Yarrow family in memory of their son Eric who was killed in service on 8 May 1915 at Ypres aged just 20.
In recognition of the Centenary of the opening of the Gallery, the end of the First World War and remembering Eric Yarrow, members of the group have produced work in response to this photograph taken at Ypres, after the Battle of Passchendaele.
The statements accompanying each piece give information about the inspiration behind the work and the techniques used and can be found in the Exhibition 2018 folder.
The windows in the Gallery made photographing some of the Ypres pieces really problematic, reflections making it difficult to see the complete work. Those images have been included here.
